April Edit: Our Boutique, Reimagined

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know clothing has always been a huge part of how I express myself—and how I built my stores.

Even though Dear Lucy has returned to its roots as a shoe and accessories destination, I haven’t lost the urge to buy, style, and curate clothing.

So… I created a space where I still can.

This is my April Edit—my boutique, reimagined.

No Rules, Just Style

For the first time in a long time, I’m not buying within constraints.

No brand territories.
No minimums.
No “you can’t carry that because someone else does.”

Just pieces I love.

This edit is what my clothing store would look like today if I could build it purely on instinct—pulling from any brand, any style, anything that feels right.

What I’m Loving Right Now

Soft, Feminine Pieces
Slip skirts, lace details, flowy silhouettes—pieces that feel a little romantic but still easy to wear.

Denim That Does the Work
The kind of denim you build outfits around. Relaxed, lived-in, effortless.

Layers That Pull It Together
A great denim jacket or lightweight layer that makes everything feel styled without trying too hard.

Accessories That Finish the Look
Belts, jewelry, texture—those small pieces that make an outfit feel intentional.

How I’m Thinking About Getting Dressed

Right now, I’m drawn to outfits that feel balanced:

  • Soft + structured
  • Feminine + casual
  • Effortless but still pulled together

It’s less about trends and more about pieces that actually work in real life.

Why This Matters to Me

This edit feels a little like coming home.

After years of buying within the structure of retail, this is the first time I’m curating purely based on taste again—no limitations, no expectations.

Just what I love.

And honestly? That’s where the best style always comes from.
